Matthew D. SappernVice President, Professional Services In his role as Eclipsys Senior Vice President of Professional Services, Matt Sappern is responsible for directing all of the company’s consulting, implementation and education/training services.
Mr. Sappern has been in his current role since February 2008. Previously, he was the company’s Senior Vice President of Technology Solution Services, including Remote Hosting and Platform Technical Services. He also served as a Vice President of Development, heading the Enterprise Solutions team, several clinical development teams and Product Management. He joined Eclipsys in 2003. Mr. Sappern has nearly 20 years of experience in technology, strategic planning and product development and delivery including leadership roles at WebMD, Time Warner, Primedia and Young & Rubicam. In addition to healthcare information technology, Mr. Sappern has considerable experience in global satellite, cable and cellular technologies. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Emory University in Atlanta, GA.
